Rachel's Dog Club

We offer a premium dog daycare service with the highest dog to staff ratio across Manchester’s daycare centres. This allows all dogs, including puppies, to go out every day on our wonderful group walks. We have a maximum of 4 dogs per walker and take the dogs to local fields, parks and woodland throughout their day.

We are a fully licensed and insured dog daycare centre in Manchester and offer exceptional care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We have always strived to offer the best service for all of our dog and human clients! Our dog daycare facility has a range of different areas which dogs can spend their days exploring and we always complete tasks and activities with them. Throughout the day, our loving and trusting team of dog carers will always take photographs and videos of your dog when they’re with us to share with you every day so you can see the fun they’ve had.

What the dogs do throughout the day

At our dog daycare we follow a timetable throughout the day to ensure all of our dogs are enriched both mentally and physically. Whilst in our centre dogs will be carefully grouped into ‘classes’ according to their energy levels and size. They will then be assigned their designated dog carer. Your dog’s carer will ensure they are working through a range of activities whilst with us: sniffing treasure hunt games, puzzles, brain games, digging tasks in the giant sand pit and many more! They will also get the opportunity for plenty of free play across our centre to enjoy our countless toys, giant tyre pit, ball pools and bacon bubble machine!

During your dog’s day they will be taken out to local fields and countryside for a wonderful walk with their dog friends. If their recall is secure they can play off-lead together; if not, we use a 20m long line so none of our dogs miss out on the fun! We explore different terrains, play sniffing ‘treasure hunt’ games in the woodland, play fetch & chase or go for a splash in local streams.

How to arrange your dog’s first day

Firstly, get in touch with us to register your dog. We will need some information about them along with a photo of their up to date vaccination records. Once we’ve established that our daycare would be suitable for your dog, we will arrange their free assessment. We would ask you to drop off your dog 12pm on a day which is suitable for you, and collect again at 2pm. During the assessment we will slowly and carefully introduce your dog to our pack and observe them to ensure they are happy and calm in our environment. The assessment will take two hours in total. During this time, we will get in touch with you with their feedback and some photos and videos of their time with us so you are fully updated.

Dogs which cannot attend

We treat all dogs as individuals and whether they can attend is based on their behaviour whilst with us. Unfortunately we do not accept intact males over the age of 8 months to our daycare. Bitches may not attend when in season. Dogs which show any signs of aggression towards other dogs or people will not be able to join us. For dog-aggressive dogs we do provide solo dog walks.

How to book daycare sessions

Once your dog has passed their assessment they will be able to join us as regularly as you’d like; we request a minimum of one day per week to ensure the harmony within our pack. Booking daycare sessions is simple; we use the My Pet Walker app where you can choose and pay for your dog’s days as you wish.

Our taxi service

Life is often very busy and dropping your dog off and collecting them whilst you’re busy with work can be difficult. This is why we offer a collection and drop off service. We collect dogs between 7:45am and 9:30am and drop off between 3:00pm and 4:30pm. Following your dog’s successful assessment, we will organise how we will access your property and then we’ll take care of the rest. All door keys are kept in a safe, are insured and will be returned on request. Our taxi service covers most areas within postcodes M3, M4, M5, M7 and M15. Please get in touch with us to confirm if we can help you.

Where we’re located

Our daycare is at the edge of Salford and very close to Manchester City Centre. The address is Unit 111, 105-117 Broughton Lane, M7 1UH. If you are using a Sat Nav put in ‘111 Broughton Lane’ as the postcode sometimes sends you to the back of the building.

Opening times

We are open five days a week, Monday – Friday. The centre opens at 7:30am and closes at 6:30pm. If you require any weekend services we are able to offer dog walking.

Multiple dog discounts

If you have more than one dog, we offer a 20% discount on the daycare price for any additional dog from the same household. The taxi service is free for additional dogs.

Our dog daycare is licensed by Salford City Council. License holder: Rachel Farrar. Licensing number 155480.
